Principals of Schelin Uldricks & Co. raised opportunity zone capital from individual investors seeking to defer and/or eliminate capital gains through the investment in qualified projects. The fund’s emphasis was on southwest and southeast US hospitality assets and included the ground up construction of limited and full service Marriott and Hilton flagged hotels. This was the first vintage fund in a programmatic JV structure.
